Georgia Here I Come

Well I have 5 days until I will officially be living in Georgia. The great Humid state known for their peaches! It will be a HUGE adjustment, but with logan finally home from Iraq it will be a dream! Even if our dream has to be in Georgia :(
We have finally found a place to live, it is a three bedroom two bath condo!!!
We had a lot of trouble finding a place to live, Georgia seems to be an anti dog state! I would find amazing places and as i slowly scrolled down i would see the words NO PETS, two words I eventually wanted to rip out of the computer! It was such a relief to finally find a place that allowed our little Mya!
I love Oregon and will miss it so much, but I know we will be back some day and until then this is part of the adventure life has thrown us!
I am trying to focus on the good points of Georgia:
* Logan and I can be together on a daily basis
(first time in about 2 1/2 years)
* Yummy ice tea!!!
* Cheap rent
* Beaches you can actually swim in not just admire
* Tons of history!!
I am still working on some other good points! Hopefully I will acquire some more soon!

Puppy Graduation

I have been slacking but my precious Mya Graduated from Puppy class a few weeks ago!
She did so well!!! If you can't already tell she didn't really like her hat, but it looked so cute i had to make her wear it for just a bit!  She is now enrolled in Intermediate dog class. Every Thursday night we load up in the car, and as soon as she realizes where we are I can't get her cute little tail to slow down.
We have so much fun, and it has made her an even better puppy!
If you can call her a puppy anymore, she is now 7 months old and 18.5 pounds!!!

Logan Update

Well every month I am sent a news letter from the FRG (family readiness group) about how all the soldiers are doing over in Iraq, events coming up, and unfortunately fallen heroes .
Well Logan is in a smaller group called PSD, out of the whole that makes up 3ID (i believe sometimes military mumbo jumbo confuses me).

Well this month the did a bigger thing on PSD! There is a few pictures, one with the whole group and then a few of his friends sadly i didn't see any of just him!
Well they talked about each individual soldier and i thought Logan's would be great for all our family and friends to kinda get a glimpse of it all!!

This is the beginning of the newsletter section on PSD! After this they had a "lets meet the soldiers section."

The mission of the Personal Security Detachment
is to escort the Brigade Commander and the
Brigade Command Sergeant Major to any location
on the battlefield either by ground or by air.
The Vanguard area of operation covers
approximately 2,500 kilometers. Some locations
require the commander and the command sergeant
major to fly because of the distance to the location.
Every Soldier in the PSD plays a critical role
toward accomplishing the mission. Prior to every
mission the Soldiers are preparing vehicles,
conducting radio checks, prepping their weapon
systems and making sure the trucks are ready to
conduct a combat patrol.
During the mission every Soldier has a sector
to cover; whether it is scanning into crowds while
the convoy is going through a city looking for
any threats, scanning the side of roads for wires,
newly dug holes, trash, or anything that can be
an improvised explosive device or a threat to the
teams.
Following each mission the Soldiers clean their
weapons and trucks, fill the trucks up with fuel,
and prepare for the next day’s mission.

In the "meet the soldiers section" this is what was said about Logan!

Pfc. Logan P. Johnson
He is a Gunner for the Colonel’s team and
provides security for the Brigade Commander while
on combat patrols and provides over watch during
mounted and dismounted operations.
The native of Harrisburg, Ore., spends his down
time watching movies, playing Call of Duty and
going to the gym.
He said what he misses most is his fiancée
Tiffany, his family and his friends.

Well I am trying to get the picture to work but some how i will have to get some tec support on it haha!!!

Paradise Park

We have chosen the venue for the wedding & reception!
Paradise Park
It is an amazing outdoor venue with the cutest old fashion cabin!
The Townsend's are the owners and good friends with my older sister
the site has a beautiful tribute to there eldest son, a fun playground for the kids, and the atmosphere i had imagined for my wedding!
It is actually right by my dad's house in the Coburg hills, which will make getting ready before the wedding so much easier!
I was so happy to find it while Logan was here!

The dress has been purchased!

I got my wedding dress!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This makes everything so real, and is also such a big relief!!!
It is perfect nothing like i had ever imagined... but when I put it on I was sold!
Not only did the dress come at a great price it came with a great story...
I got the dress at a store named Trudy's in California, which happen to be the same place my sister 8 years ago got her wedding dress! The consultant helping me with all the dresses, went looking with my sister to find some more dresses for me to try on, when they came back not only did they pick out the dress but the consultant had said "I swear i know you" haha my sister had been thinking the same think and they realized....That she had helped my sister find her wedding dress all those years ago!
I really wish we could have gotten a picture with her!
But at least we now know where we will send our daughters when they need there wedding dress!

Now of course i can't post a picture of give any details but i know you will all love it!
My dad really gave it the highest compliment
I asked is it what you imagined your littlest girl getting married in?
he said its better!
Can't wait to show it off and see what Logan thinks!

The New Addition to the Family!

I would like to introduce Mya Johnson!
Our new adorable, wonderful, shoe loving, beagle.
She was born April 18th and the best present Logan could ever give me!
he was going to try and surprise me but couldn't find a beagle anywhere so he told me and we went look for a precious buddle of joy to bring home! We found the add in the penny saver of all places and we were off to Salem to take her home!!!!!!

She loves shoes, ping pong balls, tennis balls, and HER BUNNY!!!!!!!!!

The picture was taken when we were flying back from Kentucky! Logan had just graduated from Basic training and AIT! We were both just exhausted and fell asleep waiting for our plane considering it got canceled several times! I just feel like this is us in a nut shell!!! Got to love us haha!

So relieved!

It is official i have completed my first year of college!!!!!! I am so excited and relieved! At two in the morning I clicked the finalize this test button and finished my last final until this next September!!!! Now I just need to pack up my house and try and get ready for Logan coming home!!!I have nine days to pack a crazy house!and I have less then two weeks to shave my legs, and remember how to look good for someone again! The time has flown by he has been gone just about 9 months can't believe it but at the same time I can! Now 6 more months to go! Last Day

Well tomorrow will be my last day at Starbucks! Thank Gosh!!!! It has been an experience and but I can't wait to be done! I still love making coffee but in the more traditional way! More then just pushing a button! I will miss having an income for the next two months but I have too much to do, and couldn't even try and work through it all. Which is one thing i have really learned up here is that it is just a job not my career, school comes first!
I am most happy about my last day because it just means it Logan will be home soon for R&R!!!!!!!!
