A Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

On a perfect Kansas day we set off to the local pumpkin patch!
The pumpkin patch was so fun full of bowling with little logs, hay rides, corn maze, and
much much more!

The hit of the day was the horse apple catapult!!!!
Logan tried for about 40 min to just hit the top hay bail that served as the "target"

It was a great day finished by delicious
carmel apples on the beautiful scenic hay ride.

My little bumble bee

My little Mya is the sweetest thing, not only is she adorable,
but she puts up with her crazy mother
(being me, because she is my fur baby)
making her wear a silly costume for Halloween!

Well Mya is my little precious bumble bee this year, for Halloween
I think she looks adorable!

If Logan wouldn't kill me, I would have to dress her up more often.
but for now Halloween will be my outlet for fun little outfits!
Can't wait for next year!

Pumpkin Carving

We had a blast carving pumpkins with our neighbors.
I had forgotten how much time it took just to
take all the pumpkin guts out.
We got some stencils to try and create the perfect pumpkin!
There were degrees of difficulty on each pumpkin I stuck to a level one pumpkin with a cute little face! My brave and diligent husband went for a level three pumpkin with a skeleton head. They both proved to be difficult but fun with our neighbors who did the dragon pumpkin!
It was so fun to do with family and really got us in the Halloween spirit!

Green Socks

I love a freshly mowed lawn, for obviously the look, but also the smell!
The smell is so fresh, and clean and just like fresh rain on pavement!
It was so funny after taking her out, she comes back
with the green on all over her paws!
It really looked like she had little green socks on.
So my new found love for freshly cut grass is the
the little green socks it puts on Mya!

Sergeant Logan P. Johnson

I am so incrediable proud of Logan he went to the
military board (which is like going infront of a bunch of your bosses & telling them why you should get promoted)
in May right before our wedding, and did fantastic!
All that was left was him to get his points!
Well as of September 1st he got them!
He had his ceremony giving him his E-5 or his Sergeant Rank!
He had only been in for three years and has gotten so far!
I am so proud of him!
I wish I got pictures but totally spaced it out in the excitement of everything!

Day in the Sand

Logan and I had our first time to the Sand dunes on the lovely
Oregon Coast!
We went with our amazing friends Jake and Rose,
who have a yellow little dune buggy.
Logan and Jake went out together and did the crazy stuff
trying to get the other to scream.
While Rose and I enjoyed a nice and easy ride down to the beach!
It was a perfect day spent with great friends we wish we could see more often!!!

Mya meets Oz

Mya our rambunctious little puppy met Veronica's puppy Oz!
Oz, who is only about 6 months compared to Mya who is 1 yr and 5 months,
was just tad bigger then Mya.
They turned out to be the perfect play mates, Oz even gave Mya a
run for her money!
At the end of the day it was great to spend time with old friends
and watch our babies play!

Blondes Have More Fun

Well I made a big jump and dyed my hair Blonde!
I wanted to go completely blonde, but everyone slowed me down,
so for now I am an almost blonde!
In December when Logan and I make our next trip to Oregon,
I plan to go full blonde, but for now I am loving the Change!

Lane County Fair

I can still remember going to the Lane County fair since I was barely able to run!
All the rides, food and of course the silly animals
all ingredients to create the best day!
Still as time goes by it creates an amazing time except as I have aged
the day becomes night
add a few amazing friends to make it incredible!

Fun in the Sun

With the perfect not to hot not to cold weather we have
been enjoying some amazing summer activities!
The most recent of our trips, was to the
local nature center, which had the most amazing park that the adults
enjoyed more then the kids.
(examples above)
Later that day we enjoyed the luxury of living a block from
the largest, most beautiful lake in Kansas
Milford Lake
We are so fortunate to be so close to the lake on some of our
hot days, full of swimming
and beautiful evenings, full of fishing!
Logan and our neighbors had a blast
goofing off in the lake!

Summer Nights

We have AMAZING neighbors, who have an adorable 7 year old boy who is all about sports!
Joe (dad) Suzy (mom) Christopher (son) and Foxy (the pup)
The nights have been so beautiful that we have been spending every night in our front yards or across the street at the city park!
Logan, Joe and Christopher are out playing catch with everything from
tennis balls, baseball, frisbee an of course football!
It has been a blast joining in occasionally, and watching the boys goof off!
It has shown me such a tender side of Logan!
The biggest and best surprise is that
Logan has volunteered to coach the 2nd & 3rd grade
Football team!
I am so proud of him!
It will be so great to get involved in the community!
With the practices, games, and bringing snacks it will be such a wonderful
experience for us both!
I can't wait to take Mya out to the field and
cheer on the little guys
and my big guy
the coach !!!!!!

Home is where the heart is!

We are slowly getting our house together and I finally found our camera (that I lost)!!
The main rooms of the house are pretty well put together.
I am still trying to get our other two rooms organized with a few finishing touches!
I feel like a dork, but I have still put out all of Mya's doggie stuff, I miss her so much
two more weeks and I get to see her and bring her home!
The house is still in desperate need of decorations but I am horrible at decorating and I can't choose how I want each area decorated!
I have some ideas and my goal is to have the house completely
decorated and put together by the beginning of the year!
Well now for the pictures of our adorable little house in
beautiful
Milford, Kansas
(never thought I would ever live in Kansas)

The Fair Kansas Style

The fair was a blast, with a Kansas twist of it being not only a fair but a rodeo!
The inner children of us both came out full force...
Logan played way to many games, won a ridiculous wig,
and got the high score on a punching game!
Tiffany, of course, ate way to much, indulged in every sweet available,
and said "aww honey, look" at way too many baby animals!

Straight Hair

Well every now and again I will straighten my very curly hair! It takes about an hour and a half, so I have to be very bored to do it! Logan hadn't seen my hair straight since he joined the army, so I decided I should considering I have nothing to do these days. Most people that have seen me with straight hair say how I look like a totally different person!
I prefer my curly hair I think it just fits me, and I look weird with straight hair!
I will also say it is much harder to take care of.
Well I decided I would share so here is Tiffany with straight hair!

Country Bumpkin Fun

Well Logan has fell in love with Kansas and has decided to give
himself a proper southern/kansas name!
His name is Bo, Bo Johnson. Bo enjoys mudding in his truck, fishing, hunting, chewing,
and saying his name!
We broke in the truck at a mudding park about 40 min away.
The park was donated by a man who wanted to give
people an area to go mudding in ATV's and Trucks!
Only in Kansas!
Here is the end results of our first day at the park!

Lost Beagle

Logan got back from his usual run the other day
and made the mistake of telling me there was a lost dog with no collar across the street!
So what does his crazy wife tell him
"Go get it!!!! If it was Mya we would pray someone would catch her"
He agrees and runs to get the dog!
The Dog happens to also be a BEAGLE so my heart melts immediately!
Well I ended up convincing Logan to have it stay with us for the night, because it was already late and the poor dog can't stay out all night with out a place to go!
Logan is of course thinking why did I even tell her!
Well Logan and I both ended up falling in love with this precious
male beagle that I named Fred!
He was so calm and so well behaved, it gave us hope for Mya!
He made me and kinda Logan want to keep him!
The next morning after he got two baths
we brought him up to our city hall to see if he had a home!
Sure enough he did, they said he gets out often and lives about 6 blocks up the street from us!
Fred's real name was Bailey
of all names it cracked us up that of course a beagle name Bailey would stroll into our yard!
Logan now says he is never telling me about a stray dog again or we
will be one of those couples with no kids
and 12 dogs!
